Dog Days of Summer
4-7pm: Reston Town Center Pavilion
On Wednesday evenings in the summer, the Pavilion turns into a dog park with toys, treats, wading pools, and giveaways. FREE.


Lake-Anne-summer-concerts

On Thursdays in the summer, Lake Anne Plaza offers free waterfront concerts, some of which include dance instruction.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 4, 2016

Fairfax County 4-H Fair and Carnival
10am-8:30pm: Frying Pan Farm Park, 2709 West Ox Road, Herndon
Events include carnival rides, food, animals, and live music.

Food Truck Thursdays
11am-2pm: Reston Town Square Park, Reston Town Center
On the first Thursday of each month, a variety of food truck vendors provide lunch and dessert options.

Take a Break Concert Series – Dance Night with Sin Miedo
7-9pm: Lake Anne Plaza, Reston
Bring lawn chairs or a picnic blanket and enjoy music by the lake. This week’s concert features Latin music and salsa dance instruction. FREE.


FRIDAY, AUGUST 5, 2016

Totally Trucks
9:30am-12pm: Central Services Facility, 12250 Sunset Hills Road, Reston
Bring the kids and check out all the big trucks that Reston Association uses to keep Reston beautiful. Children will receive a “Totally Trucks” construction helmet. Rain or shine. FREE.

Fairfax County 4-H Fair and Carnival
10am-8:30pm: Frying Pan Farm Park, 2709 West Ox Road, Herndon
Events include carnival rides, food, equestrian demonstrations, animals, Big Truck Night, and live music.

Flash Mob Zumba Event
6:30pm: Reston Town Center Pavilion
Watch or participate in a Zumba flash mob to benefit Jill’s House, a charity that supports children with special needs. If you would like to join in the dance, you can learn the choreography here. FREE, but charitable donations are requested.

Friday Night Live – Sam Grow + Delta Spur
