12/10/15 – 7:50AM: Foggy Sunrise. The Sun just after it broke the horizon, illuminates the early morning lake fog on Lake Anne, Reston Virginia. The ingredients to make this beautiful sunrise are chilly overnight low temps (34F), relatively warm waters of the lake, the fog created by that warmer moisture source, and a clear sunrise. With the weather being more like late September / early October lately (warm days and cold nights) the lake has stayed fairly warm.
