On Saturday, May 30, 2015, Lake Anne celebrated the grand opening of PetMAC, a new pet supply store and adoption center located on the Plaza. The event included working dog demos, music, face painting, and vendors, but the highlight of the day was a performance by Chesapeake DockDogs. Several trained dogs soared in the air and splashed into the lake, as crowds watched and cheered.

It was a gorgeous day for a grand celebration! PetMAC Adoption Center and Retail Shop celebrated of its official Grand Opening in Reston’s historic Lake Anne Plaza on Saturday, May 30th. Among the many pet-friendly vendors was Chesapeake DockDogs and I was honored to photograph them! Over 20 dogs demonstrated the sport of dock diving and what perfect weather to do it!
