Bring a flashlight for an evening hunt for eggs and prizes in the dark. There will also be a moon bounce and a visit from the Easter Bunny. $3.

Eggnormous Egg Hunt
Brown’s Chapel Park, Reston
Children 1-8 can enjoy carnival games, entertainment, moon bounces, prizes, and a strolling magician, along with an egg hunt, which starts at 10:30am. No reservations, FREE.
Easter Eggs-travaganza
Reston Zoo, Reston
Feed baby animals, meet with the Easter Bunny, and hunt for eggs in the Safari Egg Hunt (for children 4-12) or the Toddler Egg Hunt (for children 3 and under). Included in zoo admission: $13.
Aqua Egg Hunt
Herndon Aquatic Center, 814 Ferndale Ave, Herndon
An egg hunt in a pool challenges kids to gather as many floating and sinking eggs as possible. Afterward there will be open swim time in the pool until 4pm. $10.
Clemijontri Easter Egg Hunt
Clemijontri Park, McLean
This huge playground will offer egg hunts, crafts, carousel rides, and visits with the Easter Bunny. Egg hunts are split by age and run every thirty minutes. Preregistration required. $6.
Old-Fashioned Egg Roll
Freeman House, Vienna
Children 12 and younger can experience a true egg roll on the lawn of the Freeman House. There will also be an egg hunt, egg painting, and visits with the Easter Bunny. The one-hour event begins at 10:30am. FREE.

At Great Country Farms, marshmallow Peeps grow on trees. Kids can harvest Peeps and hunt for eggs, and then roast their marshmallows on a bonfire. See spring chicks and other animals, take a wagon ride, and enjoy several playgrounds and huge slides. Included in farm admission: $10/$12
