Reston’s newest restaurant, Glory Days Grill, opened this week. It’s a sports bar with 40 TVs, and each booth has its own speaker with volume control. They serve a broad menu of appetizers, burgers, tacos, steaks, pizza, fish, salads, and desserts. They’re particularly proud of their chicken wings, which are served with a choice of several wing sauces. They have a large kids’ menu and a gluten-free menu.
In addition to a wide range of sports, Glory Days Grill will be showing the latest television specials, series premieres, and season finales on their TVs. This Sunday will be all about the Super Bowl, though, of course!
There are plenty of other local options for watching the Super Bowl or catering your own party. Here are some of the specials happening at other sports bars and restaurants around Reston:
American Tap Room at Reston Town Center will have several food and drink specials, including a pre-game all-you-can-eat Chef’s Table Brunch for $19.95, a Play Action appetizer sampler, and all-day happy hour menu.
Buffalo Wing Factory at Hunters Woods Village Center offers wings to carryout for your home party (they recommend you order in advance), and has TVs for in-house viewing.
Gregorio’s Trattoria at North Point Village Center has offering carryout specials on their delicious pizza for Game Day.
Kalypso’s Sports Tavern has a sports bar with 25 large HD TVs, and a lounge and full restaurant. On Sunday they will have game day specials starting at noon, and an HDTV raffle benefitting the Camp Sunshine charity. Stick around after the game for a dance party with DJ Mega.
Mon Ami Gabi at Reston Town Center will host a Super Sunday Pajama Brunch party. Specials include a rolling champagne cart and a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar. Guests who show up in their pajamas will receive a free meal for a future visit.
Paolo’s Ristorante at Reston Town Center will offer discounts on carryout pizza for your home viewing party.
World of Beer at Reston Town Center has several TVs that will show the game, including their Jumbo screen. On Sunday they will have $6 burgers and $6 flatbreads, as well as their 53 beers on draft and 500 bottles. They also have a full lunch/dinner menu and liquor and wine.
